I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants met personally to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

Size Disparity

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
